Pakistan Decides to Deny Visa To Anupam Kher

Anupam Kher is denied a visa for visiting Pakistan.

Neighbouring country Pakistan on Tuesday denied a visa to actor and BJP sympathizer Anupam Kher, who has been welcomed by the organizers of a literary fest in the city of Karachi as one of their chief guests.

Kher is of the opinion that just he has been singled out of the 18 delegates who had applied for the visa. "I am very sad and disappointed that out of 18 participants, 17 were given visa and I was denied," Kher expressed while speaking with news agency ANI.

Responding to reports, the Pakistan High Commission, in any case, has claimed that Kher never presented any application for the visa. 

Kher is booked to go to a session at the Karachi literary fest on February 5. The 60-year-old actor, who was honored the Padma Bhushan as of late, has been a vocal supporter of the BJP-drove government at the Center. 

A weekend ago, Kher and Congress pioneer Shashi Tharoor were included in a war of words on Twitter over the veteran performing artist's remark that he is terrified to transparently say he is a Hindu.

The 60-year-old performing artist was likewise asked by a fan whether he has any plans of following in the strides of his performer government official wife Kirron Kher sooner rather than later. 

"Not at all. I am happy to be an actor and teacher and a motivational speaker," the on-screen actor composed. 

On the silver screen, Mr Anupam Kher was seen in "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" featuring Salman Khan and will next be seen in Neeraj Pandey's directorial "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story" where he will be seen attempting the part of cricketer MS Dhoni's dad Pan Singh. 

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput will be depicting Dhoni for the biopic, which is slated to hit the theaters one year from now.
