Will BJP and PDP Come Together in Jammu and Kashmir ?

Uncertainty looms in the state of J&K over government formation.

Anticipation over government formation continued in the northern state of Jammu and Kashmir as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and collusion accomplice BJP passed the buck on one another to end the political stalemate. 

BJP and PDP Come Together

PDP boss Mehbooba Mufti met Jammu- based party pioneers with respect to this on Wednesday, a day in the wake of landing from Srinagar interestingly since the death of her dad, boss pastor Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, on January 7 while state BJP pioneers excessively held an inside meeting.

The result of the BJP's meeting on Wednesday, where state party boss Sat Pal Sharma and additionally Nirmal Singh, who was deputy chief minister in the Sayeed government, were available, was not known but rather, representative Sunil Sethi said his gathering will work towards

"Mehboobaji has said what she needed to ... so we are sitting tight for the BJP to react," senior PDP leader Nayeem Akhtar said.

Mehbooba meanwhile, went to Jammu region's party headquarters at Gandhi Nagar and met party leaders for more than two hours. PDP representative Firdos Tak said the BJP should react to issues raised by her before any strides could be taken shaping a legislature. 

"Mehboobaji has catagorically expressed that some CMBs (certainty building measures) need to taken by the Center. BJP has looked for time. It is they who will need to clarify," he said. "Both coalition accomplices need to sit and choose." 

State BJP pioneers met after they approached representative NN Vohra for 10 days to react to "whatever is outstanding" with the PDP. The representative had welcomed both PDP and BJP pioneers to the Raj Bhavan in Jammu on Tuesday evening for partitioned converses with clear up their stands.

It will be a wait and watch kind of a situation in the northern state as far as the government formation is concerned. Both BJP and PDP are expected to break the jinx and rule the state.
