Official Trailer Of Mohenjo Daro Starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde Has Released

UTV Motion Pictures and Ashitosh Gowarikar Productions Present Mohenjo Daro featuring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde. The film is directed by ace director Ashutosh Gowariker and releases on August 12, 2016. Ashutosh Gowariker has earlier directed movies like Jodha Akbar and Laggan.

Gowariker's film took three years for completion. He took assistance from archaeologists who archived the revelation of Indus Valley Civilisation. The film was shot in Bhuj and Mumbai with some small portions in Jabalpur and Thane.

The female lead, Pooja Hegde, has prior featured in Tamil superhero film, Mugamoodi, in 2012, Telugu movies Oka Laila Kosam and Mukunda in 2014.

The poster of the film has also been released and it appears like the first look of Mohenjo Daro's female lead Pooja Hegde has not been taken well by everybody.

While the poster got immense praise from Bollywood fans, Ruchika Sharma, a M.Phil student at JNU with a specialization in Medieval Indian history, lashed out at the creators of the motion picture saying that they depicted a Harappan lady erroneously.
