The Lighter Side: Now That Rs 500 and Rs 1000 Notes Have No Value!

CRB Tech reviews, in this blog would like to look at the lighter side of the recent Modi government led decision, to scrap Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.

The anxiety developed after PM Narendra Modi met defense chiefs to survey the India-Pakistan security situation and news sifted through that he would address the country. However, it was a surgical strike of an alternate kind, with Modi conveying a dazzling shock by scrapping Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 notes and announcing a "decisive war" against corruption, black money and terrorism

Let's now look at the consequences it can cause, obviously on a lighter note:

1. Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes are just a piece of paper now. No wonder if we see them being used for origami. Would you imagine this a day before?

2. A recent joke circulated on whatsapp pointed at a few politicians behind bars, asking a day off to exchange their currency in the bank! LOL!

3. Dawood would be worried about his business in the country, duping.

4. Rs 500 and 1000 denominations have become antique. You can keep some as memoirs!

5. Sleepless nights for black money owners.

6. This currency can be now used in the game of monopoly.

7. No surprise if we see quite a few of these currency lying on the road!

8. One can expect real estate prices to fall down. Now that's a good news for those who are thinking of buying properties.

9. Imagine admissions to colleges without donations!

10. Poor would become rich and rich would become poor.

11. A solution on match fixing? That's what BCCI would be thinking.

12. Swacch Bharat mission extended from garbage to black money.

13. Delhi cannot afford old currency notes being burnt in the wake of this decision. It is already facing pollution issues!

These were a few things that could happen in the light of this new initiative from the government in power. PM Modi while addressing the nation yesterday, announced this decision. It came as a surprise to all sections of the society. PM urged the citizens of the country, to support him while implementing this. There would be some kind of inconvenience for a few days before the things fall into place.

Let's all hope for a better and 'cleaner' India, in the wake of this decision. CRB Tech reviews congratulates the govt. for taking such an initiative.
